Back at it

I'm back at it, Monday was my first day back from vacation and it was a crazy day. Oh my gosh i need a vacation after the vacation! The sunny days in Florida wore me out, I thought I could handle it but i was definitely WRONG. I must say all-in-all I really enjoyed myself, had a great time. I promise pictures are coming, haven't had time to really sort through them just yet.

Life:::: Well a lot has happened within the last month, I got to know someone very special; OK we will call him Mr. Sauvé and that's how I will refer to him anytime I talk about him. I think I have gained a really good friend, and that's exactly what I mean FRIEND! I know I will have some that would love to read more into it.He was here briefly although I met him about a year ago, it wasn't until this visit that we became more acquainted. He is a nice, respectable guy and I enjoyed his company along with getting to know more about him. As he would quote "It's all good"!

School::::A new quarter has started and guess what? I have Saturdays off this quarter, perfect timing for the summer right. I'm taking Lighting and Psychology so it will be interesting, especially when my instructor informed us last night that we will need a square root calculator for our lighting class ~BLINK, BLINK~! Yeah, this will be instrastin shall I say.

Church:::: I'm appalled but not at all surprised at what God is doing in our ministry. As mentioned above I have been on vacation so I have missed a couple of services (bible study and Sunday services), man I walked in Sunday and all I can say is "Look at God" the pews were filled and the space was limited. I had to sit in the back and I wasn't ushering, now that was awkward. My pastor always states that there will be a time that you will certainly have to be on a department just to get a seat, and it is surely coming to pass. I pray that souls will continue to fill Victory so the vision can come to Fruition.


Hair:::: The naturel "I'm lovin it" it is sooooooo low maintenance, I don't know what took me soooo long to do it. However, I'm so tired of people asking why did I go natural. I wish I had some deeper philosophical answer for you, that I could wax poetic about embracing my roots, bucking the system, becoming one with my follicles. But really, I wanted to, so I did. So, if you ask me this question, my answer is going to be “because I wanted to, or that I was bored” Now if you really want to discuss hair, that’s cool, I’m game. But if the sole purpose of your asking is so that you can tell me, “I would never do that to my hair,” you will get the aforementioned answer. And I can tell the difference between true curiosity and b.s. Okay, yeah I know that was a bit crude but i'm tired of folk asking me why....

Okay, I think I have talked enough to cover all the times I didn't post so until lata my Fathers' children.
