Hold your seats.......Lengthy Post

I know it has been about a month or so since I have written or updated my blog, but it was for a very good reason. I have pictures to post but unfortunately I can’t connect my hard drive or thumb drives at work anymore and by the time I get home at night it’s a done deal. Maybe I will get a chance on the weekend to post some, I dunno.

Church- Our church just recently completed our annual 21 day Daniel fast! Praise Gawd! I feel good in my soul and I can truly say that God is awesome. My pastor also just got back from Barbados where he was in revival, souls were saved so that’s always a good report. Just know that when God begin to deal with you, your best bet is to say yes Lord & yes to his will! Please don’t be sighted as a “cast-a-way”! Walking and living a Christians life is easy……it’s how we decided to re- act to the diverse situations that come in our life to distract us.But we have already been forewarned that all that will come and have been given specific instructions on how to deal with each of them. So my tidbit of advice is to take it day-by-day! Seriously, it’s time out for putting God on the backburner, sure we all want to be successful in careers and in life but “what really does it profit you”? Have you ever just sat and thought about how much we invest in our ole raggedy souls….. Work 8 hours a day, go to school for 3-4 hours a day, spend time with our children, husbands or loved ones X amount of hours but it’s so hard for us to go to a 2 hour bible study or a 4 hour worship services. My God, shall we continue in sin that Grace shall abound, God Forbid!

Life- Well I really don’t have anything to interesting going on other than my usual. Although, I do have a couple of trips planned and some that are tentative. I may be going to Illinois the weekend of Valentine’s which is TENTATIVE, yes all caps TENTATIVE. In April I’m supposed to go to Vegas with my sister and her best friend, I’m not sure if I’m going b/c unfortunately those dates are the same as my Pastor’s 50th Birthday celebration. In July I’m attending one of my best friends 10 yr wedding renewal back in South Carolina, yeah that’s kinda weird one of my friends has been married for a whopping TEN years. Look at God, that’s all I can say about that situation! I’m looking for another place to stay, and I promise this move will be the last before I purchase a home, period the end. My sister may be up for deployment again for the 3rd time in May, and her husband is definitely deploying in August so continue to lift them up in prayer as well as my mother b/c as you may or may not know she is “officially” a live in nanny dependant.

School-This quarter ain’t no punk, cuse my ebonics! Mon-Thurs 6:30-10:30 umm era-uh yepper it’s killing a sista. I’m taking PCB II (Photoshop & Computer Basics) & Advanced Camera (working with a 4X5 viewfinder camera). The courses aren’t so bad; I think it’s more so the time b/c I come straight from work with no intermission, “Strength” Lawd! I have had a couple of interesting assignments that in most I didn’t feel so comfortable performing but I haven’t received anything less that an 87 in either class.

Relationship (rather male or female): When I stop being a priority, then I'm not willing to even be an option. Why? Because I don't have to!! I don't have to accept less than what I desire. I shouldn't be in a relationship and still feel like I'm missing something from the other entity. I'm all for being open and communicating, but something’s are just common knowledge.

Why I’m I loving Kurt Carr new CD…… it has been in heavy rotation getting ready for work, on my way to work, at work, leaving work going to school, leaving school going home to playing in my soul while I’m sleep….. Me lurves that CD!!!! This is just the BEGINNING yall.
